Firedance is hosting a Beginner’s Drumming Workshop and open jam at Toronto Pagan Pride Day on August 7th, 12-9pm at Wilket Creek Park. Bring your drums, shakers, bells, dancing feet, and most importantly, bring your PAGAN PRIDE!

There will be a full day’s worth of workshops, entertainment, kids’ activities, rituals, a bardic competition, and fireside drumming in store for you! Toronto Pagan Pride feast for the day will be a free barbecue with the addition of a potluck! Yes the organizers of Toronto Pagan Pride will provide a lovely barbecue of chicken, beef and vegetarian items but we need YOU to bring in a dish to share as well. Keep in mind harvest foods of the season, please be sure to list ingredients for allergy concerns and most importantly, we need to minimize all garbage we create throughout the day so please bring your dish in a reusable container that you can keep track of and bring home at the end of the day.

Firedance Drum Festival August 19-22nd, 2010

Our next event is Firedance Drum Festival on August 19-22nd and we are all really excited to present this year’s festival, it is going to be an amazing weekend of drumming, dancing, workshops, rituals and some really wicked performances!

A few things to know about festing with us…..

• Bring your own tent, and please come prepared to cook your food. We are not hosting a kitchen or meal passes.
• We do have space available for trailers.
• There is no parking on the site, unless you have a physical disabililty or special needs, and if you do, please contact Charlene at firedancedrums@hotmail.com,
• Please bring your own plates, utensils, and cups to our potluck feast on Saturday evening… the Earth is our Mother, let’s keep her clean and healthy.
• Take ALL your garbage home… there will be garbage and recycling bags available at registration.
